In this unit the focus is on the individual student as an emerging manager – their knowledge, skills and abilities in the context of organisational structures and purposes, and how people are managed to achieve organisational success. In this unit students are introduced to the fundamentals of management and the different organisational structures in the context of the contemporary global business environment.
