L71 Master of Management Information Systems

The Master of Management Information Systems is relevant to employment of both information technology (IT) and non-IT professionals who recognise the need to acquire knowledge and managerial skills with respect to the role and pervasiveness of information and communications technology and its associated management implications in contemporary organisations.
 
Management Information Systems (MIS) describes the broad opportunities for supporting the application of technologies to business. The study of e-business and enterprise systems is an integral part of this area. The Master of MIS specifically addresses the business and technology issues arising from enterprise use of IT and covers technological, managerial and strategic issues.

 
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

This course is available to applicants with an Australian Bachelor degree (AQF Level 7) in a discipline other than Information Systems or an equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary institution.

OR

5 years appropriate and/or relevant, supervisory or managerial work experience.

OR

Successful completion of a Graduate Certificate in a relevant discipline (AQF Level 8).
