Description:

This unit examines the anatomy, physiology and pathology of the cardio-respiratory system. The physiotherapy assessment and management of people with pathology of the cardio-respiratory system is explored. Attention is given to how these people are managed by the physiotherapist in a variety of settings, including the intensive care unit. An overview of relevant pharmacology is also provided.
