Description:

This unit examines the functional anatomy of the the human trunk, head and neck, central and peripheral nervous systems, and cardio-respiratory system. Common clinical disorders affecting these structures and systems will be addressed with reference to pathoanatomy and pathophysiology. Students will use models and prosections to identify anatomical structures, and understand modification of these by injury or disease.
