SSE2105 Society and Environment

Description:

The unit focus is on the teacher preparation and planning processes that will facilitate outcomes based teaching-learning in the Society and Environment learning area.  A range of Society and Environment teaching and learning resources will be explored in order to examine and develop techniques for long term planning, monitoring and reporting the achievement of student outcomes, alternative assessment strategies, planning out-of-class learning experiences and utilising community resources to enhance teaching-learning.  Students will also develop skills for producing appropriate learning materials and for using information technology to enhance learning in Society and Environment.
