L84 Graduate Certificate in Children and Young People's Nursing
Students are required to successfully complete 60 credit points (three units).  The Graduate Certificate in Children and Young People's Nursing builds on the skills and knowledge a comprehensive nurse has attained at undergraduate level. The course equips nurses working with children to meet the educational and training needs as stated by various professional bodies to specialise in children and young people's nursing.
 
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
  • Applicants must be Registered Nurses; And
  • Possess a bachelor degree (or equivalent) in nursing.
 
SPECIAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
  • All nurses wishing to enrol in the course must be employed in a children and young people's health care setting for a minimum of 18 hours per week.

COURSE STRUCTURE

The Graduate Certificate in Children and Young People's Nursing is a part time online course. The course consists of three 20 credit units making up a total of 60 credit points.

 

The first unit, NNT5100 is a pre-requisite for NNT5101 & NNT5102.
