SCHOOL OF COMMUNICATIONS AND ARTS
Credit Points: 15

Description:

Design is evolving into an interdisciplinary practice and field of research. Designers can help question the assumptions underlying other disciplines. What they bring to each task are special ways of understanding and solving problems which address practical, viable, and emotional needs. In this unit students explore ways of investigating and understanding problems, methods of generating ideas to solve those problems, and approaches to implementing their designs.
