Description:

In this unit, students will develop the musculo-skeletal assessments of the upper limb, spine, sacrum and pelvis. Students will also be able to plan, implement and evaluate the physiotherapy treatment of musculo-skeletal conditions of the upper limb, spine, sacrum and pelvis. Students will conduct a peripheral nervous system examination (brachial plexus). Students will learn about common orthopaedic conditions of the upper limb and spine, and the physiotherapy management of these conditions. Students will also gain practical experience in splinting.
