TDD3207 3D Design Practices: Project

Description:

This unit addresses the issues of project design management and spatial design production. The unit engages students in a complex, spatial design project under the guidance of design staff. Students will be expected to create formal design briefs and design documentation to support their ultimate design outcomes.

Students will engage in problem finding and problem solving, working individually and in teams.  Topics such as wayfinding, universal design and sustainability will be considered.  Students will be expected to carry out research relevant to problems discovered in a large-scale retail space or other suitable complex environment such as a campus.
