DEF1102 Design Foundations: Design History

This unit examines the ways that humans have designed and organised their environment through history.  Students also examine the general design principles that underlie various historic periods and cultures and how they are applied across a range of activities including architecture, tools, entertainment, clothing, domestic arts and commercial activity.
