Description:

Strategic leadership is the ability to lead an organisation. A strategic leader is able to define and develop the purpose of the organisation, the key strategies, the optimum structure, the right people in the right roles, and the most effective processes for the organisation to succeed. This unit focuses on enhancing self-development of the participant, and explores the use of a variety of tools and interventions to enable clinical leaders to advance the necessary skills to set and maintain high standards of healthcare, to lead by example and to inspire, motivate and empower their teams.
