Description:

This unit concentrates on the development of a self-initiated project through thorough research into ideas, processes, materials, and outcomes. It seeks to develop advanced skills in project planning and management. The objective is to develop a substantial project that addresses relevant historical and theoretical issues, as well as the provision for multiple options in realization and outcomes. The historical and contemporary forms of public art will be outlined, as well as the project plan as a component of undertaking an artist in residence position.
