HPE2201 Teaching Health and Physical Education 2
SCHOOL OF EDUCATION
Credit Points: 15

Description:

This unit is designed to support students as they prepare for their first professional practices in mid-semester. It runs concurrently with the core Classroom Management and Instruction unit, generalising its principles to the HPE context by identifying particular features of HPE settings and assigning students corresponding managerial, instructional, assessment and curriculum development tasks. A study of the nature and purpose of HPE across junior and senior schooling levels provides the context for exploring how principles of teaching, learning and assessment apply to HPE.
