CED4203 Religious Education for Life

Description:

This unit will explore Parts 3 and 4 of the Catechism of the Catholic Church with particular emphasis on the knowledge required for effective teaching of the Perth Archdiocesan Religious Education Units of Work used in Early Childhood, Primary and Secondary Catholic school classrooms.  The unit studies responses of the Catholic Church to contemporary moral issues in light of the Gospels.  An understanding of Christian prayer will also be studied and students will explore meaningful prayer experiences for students in Catholic schools.
