TDE2156 Competency-based Training

Description:
This unit will include an overview of the National Training Reform Agenda (NTRA), the Finn, Carmichael and Mayer Reports, Competency-based Training (CBT), Recognition of Current Competencies (RCC), the Australian Vocational Training System (AVTS) and the Australian Recognition Framework (ARF). Competeny-based curricula will be identified, modified and developed in line with Training Packages and industry competency standards, modules, learning outcomes, content summaries and assessment standards. Both on-the-job and off-the-job modes of delivery and assessment will be incorporated within the curriculum.
