Description:

This unit provides opportunity to develop the skills of diagnosis and clinical management of speech, language, and hearing disorders. These skills will be gained from observations of clinical activities and from a thorough investigation of the clinical process emphasizing diagnostics, assessment tools, instrumental analysis, and other relevant technologies involved in the diagnosis of speech-language pathologies. Students will examine the essentials of hearing theory and the reporting of pathologies relating to the auditory systems.
