Description:
Information and communication technologies are important tools in teaching and learning. This unit will emphasise the principle that children learn with technology rather than from it. A number of issues will be addressed such as the appropriateness of computer software and its use with a diverse student population as well as a critical analysis of the values inherent in these technologies. Students will be required to reach a level of competency with common computer and internet software applications and digital media.
