TSM3202 Special Events Management

Description:
The focus of this unit is the management of special events (including business events) in the public and private sector, and in the context of international and domestic tourism. Event management topics including planning, marketing, sponsorship, human resource management, financial management, risk management, event staging and logistics, and evaluation will be examined. Applied knowledge in administering events will be gained through practical examples of event preparation through to delivery of an event.
