Description:
The focus of this unit is the management issues and techniques employed for the special events, including business events, in the public and private sector. Special events management will be examined in the context of the Australian market and in the context of domestic tourism. Event management techniques including, strategic planning, computerised event management software and evaluation methods will be applied to the special events arena.
