Description:

The analysis of dance focuses on current art-form developments, aesthetics, critical writing and world dance fusions.  Through examining the breadth and diversity of the profession, including perspectives on the emerging screen and technological developments in dance contexts, the student will be encouraged to form an individual philosophy of dance in contemporary Australian society, acknowledging the cultural, political and economic complexities facing the dance practitioner in the 21st century.
