TPR3101 Contemporary Challenges in Therapeutic Practice

Description:

This unit will provide an opportunity for students to be exposed to innovations and new thinking as well as engage with, some of the contemporary issues in therapeutic practice. It will encourage students to question some of the core values and traditional frameworks for therapeutic practice and evaluate their relevance and applicability to a range of contemporary issues. It is anticipated that the unit will call on the expertise and research experience of staff and psychologists in the field to assist in presenting and discussing relevant issues. The unit will also provide an opportunity for students to interact with visiting academics whose work is relevant to therapeutic practice to present and discuss their work.
