The Home Economics major is a specialist major only available to students enrolled in the double degree Bachelor of Arts Education/Bachelor of Social Science.
Students should refer to the degree structure of the Bachelor of Arts Education/Bachelor of Social Science in the School of Education for information about the organisation of the major. Students must complete all 16 units of this major to complete the requirements of the Bachelor of Arts Education/Bachelor of Social Science. 8 compulsory units are completed from Community Studies and 8 compulsory units are completed from Food, Nutrition and Textile electives from the Faculty of Computing Health and Science as follows:
