294 Bachelor of Arts (Training and Development)

The Bachelor of Arts (Training and Development) consists of the equivalent of three years university study, the first of which may be granted as advanced standing based on the principle of Recognition of Prior Learning.  The second and third years consist of eight units each and there are twelve units in the major area Training and Development.

The course provides a professional preparation for people engaged in teaching and training roles with adults.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Normal admission is into the second year of the course based on one year’s advanced standing.  Recognition of Prior Learning to determine advanced standing and credit transfer is based on ‘credentialled’ learning (e.g., another university, TAFE college or courses offered by professional bodies, enterprises or private providers recognised by the Faculty) and ‘uncredentialled’ learning (through work and practical experience and through life experience).

COURSE LOCATION AND MODE OF STUDY

The course is available by full-time or part-time study on Mount Lawley campus.
