This degree program is primarily designed to prepare students for a career as artists, creators, researchers, curators etc and in the teaching of the creative and performing arts.
Students will specialise in either Visual Arts, Contemporary Performance or Contemporary Fashion studies, or may elect to complete a Double Major in Contemporary Performance and Theatre Studies. Students combine professional education studies with specialist content studies. Graduates will have a qualification in the contemporary arts and will be a highly skilled and knowledgeable practitioners allowing them to access a wide range of career-related opportunities.

RECOMMENDED ELECTIVES |
It is recommended that students intending to study the Double Major in Contemporary Performance and Theatre Studies complete PER1105 as an elective in the foundation year (Year One). |
Students completing the Double major MUST complete PAM1002 as an elective. |

Students embark on their Major programs in the first year of study. Major programs consist of 120 credit points worth of study, and 240 credit points for the Double Major. Students must complete one or two Major programs within the School of Communications&Arts, or they may elect to complete the Double Major.
