K31 Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning

The Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning has been designed to enable students to succeed in their chosen area of planning.  It draws on the University's broadly based expertise and provides a comprehensive and innovative planning program with distinctive strengths in community planning and project development.  The course focuses on the application of the quadruple bottom line with its emphasis on environmental, social, economic and governance accountability within a framework of sustainability. 

 

Students choose one of the following Majors:

  1. Environmental Planning
  2. Governance and Policy 
  3. Project Development and Management
  4. Community Planning and Development

COURSE LOCATION
This course is available on Joondalup Campus.

Some units may only be available on the Mount Lawley campus or off-campus (online).

This course is available by Full-time, or Part-time mode.
 
MODE OF DELIVERY
This course is available in the following mode of delivery - On-campus.

Please note that some of the units are available off-campus (online).
 
COURSE STRUCTURE

The Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning degree requires a minimum of 360 credit points (24 units) and requires three years of full-time study or the part-time equivalent.

 

The degree has the following main components:

  1. A core program of 240 credit points (16 units): and
  2. A Major program of 120 credit points (including two units from the core program of 15 credit points each).
