T52 Graduate Certificate in Patient Safety and Clinical Risk | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Graduate Certificate in Patient Safety and Clinical Risk requires students to complete 60 credit points (three units) and can be undertaken in both full and part time mode of delivery. Graduates may present these three units as an alternate pathway into the Masters of Clinical Nursing or the Masters of Clinical Governance. The course requires students to undertake a minimum of 20 hours employment per week within an aged, chronic or acute health setting.
It is anticipated graduates of this course may find employment opportunities in direct health care, administration, policy development in Community Health, Aged Care, Acute Care, Health Promotion, Health Lifestyle industries, Research and Project Officer roles, both within government and non-government organisations. |

COURSE STRUCTURE The Graduate Certificate in Patient Safety and Clinical Risk requires students to complete 60 credit points over three units whereby students can undertake their studies either in full or part time mode of delivery. There is a clinical requirement for this course which requires students to undertake a minimum of 20 hours employment per week within an aged, chronic or acute health setting.
