I69 Master of Psychology

The Master of Psychology is a two-year Higher Degree by coursework.  In addition to completing a research thesis, students complete coursework and professional placements in clinical psychology.  The course prepares students for professional practice in clinical psychology (assessment and treatment of psychological disorders).  

 
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

An Honours level 2A or equivalent in an accredited fourth year course in psychology is normally required for admission into the Master of Psychology.  Admission into the program is competitive and work experience is an advantage.

 

International students are required to have an Academic IELTS overall score of 7.0, with no individual band less than 6.5.

 

 
SPECIAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

To meet APAC accreditation requirements, applicants for admission to the course are required to submit:

  • A curriculum vitae
  • A covering letter
  • 2 references submitted independently of the student's application

 

Interview:

Short-listed candidates will participate in a selection interview, either face to face or via teleconference.
