S72 Graduate Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety

This course provides an introduction to the field of Occupational Safety and Health management and has been developed to equip graduates with the basic skills necessary to function effectively in Occupational Safety and Health roles.

 

The student who successfully completes all the units in the Graduate Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety program can articulate into Graduate Diploma of Occupational Health and Safety.

 
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

An undergraduate degree and/or equivalent prior learning including at least five years appropriate professional experience.

 

As from 1 January 2015 the Admission Requirements for this course will be, an undergraduate degree and/or equivalent prior learning including at least five years experience in an occupational health and safety role.

The units within this course are offered off campus and are delivered fully online with all resources and materials accessed through the University Learning Management System.
 
COURSE STRUCTURE

The Graduate Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety is a 3 unit, 60 credit point course offered on-line either by full time or part time study. The Graduate Certificate is designed so that students can articulate into Graduate Diploma of Occupational Health and Safety.

 
YEAR ONE - SEMESTER 1
The Graduate Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety consists of 60 credit points (three units) and is a one semester full-time award which may be studied in part-time mode.
