K35 Bachelor of Music Honours

The Bachelor of Music Honours is a one-year, 120-credit-point, undergraduate degree program designed to prepare the student for entry into the music profession through advanced studies, or as a stepping stone towards further post-graduate study.  The course can be completed in any of the following areas of specialisation: classical performance; jazz performance; composition; screen composition, music technology; or musicology.  The strength of the programme is in its interdisciplinary nature and its flexibility to suit individual student needs.  The course is supported by a large staff of pedagogues and scholar/performers whose expertise spans the whole gamut of the music industry.

 
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor of Music, or equivalent. Applications are submitted via the Online Admission System.

Admission is based on an audition and/or interview.
