MIAAGW  Mathematics Education Minor 

This unit set is available in the following courses:
Y68 BACHELOR OF EDUCATION (SECONDARY)

Content covered in this minor includes basic concepts and techniques of algebra and functions; trigonometry; statistics, such as organising numerical data estimation and hypothesis testing; problem solving and analysis; and mathematical modelling using differential and integral calculus and analytic geometry. Students will be able to plan and support a variety of mathematics lessons, assessments and activities, up to and including Year 10 level.

 

Note: Students must have passed either WACE General Mathematics 2C/2D or 3A/3B to do this minor. A satisfactory result in WACE 3C/3D is also desirable.
