CSI5211 Information Security Standards and Practice

CSI4104 Information Security or equivalent
 
Description:
This unit looks at the use of information security standards and relevant standards in associated disciplines. These standards are researched and critically analysed. Their relationship to information security policy, legislation and best practice will be explored. On completion of this unit the student should have a firm grasp of the existing standards and their potential use in the corporate IT environment.
