This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to perform regular maintenance and simple repairs on lighting equipment in any technical production environment. A lighting technician would generally undertake this role. This unit does not cover the specialist mechanical, electrical or electronic knowledge and skills which would be required by service technicians to complete complex repairs on specific pieces of equipment. Also, it does not include any electrical repairs, which must be undertaken by a licensed electrician. Full Unit Outline | |||
