WESTERN AUSTRALIAN ACADEMY OF PERFORMING ARTS

Description:

This unit is designed to facilitate the transition from the institution to the workplace. As such, it is important that students assume a level of personal responsibility in researching and selecting potential work placements, preparing CVs and on-line bios. While many students select professional or semi-professional companies, students are encouraged to think about a broad range of options including dance service organisations, teaching positions, choreographic mentorships and community dance projects. This is an opportunity to benchmark and evaluate performance in relation to others in the workplace.
