OCT4115 Occupation, Health and Wellbeing

Description:

Students are introduced to the social determinants of health and the global issues that affect people's health. They will consider the outcomes of occupational injustice and links between occupational performance and the health of individuals, groups and communities. Philosophical principles that guide the development of occupational roles with marginalised populations, and how occupational therapy principles and practice can incorporate health promotion, advocacy and leadership approaches will be covered.
