ARE3102 Advanced Visual Arts Workshop 1

Description:

This unit offers a project approach for education students in visual arts practice which draws on and extends students’ studio experiences with an aim for students to be able to pass this knowledge on to secondary school students.  Each student’s conceptual development and the exploration of contextual concerns will provide focal points in the unit.  To support this development, students are to keep a Workbook which includes documentation of ideas as well as research into, and reflection on, the visual arts.  An assignment which supports the studio presentation is a further requirement of the unit.
