PER1102 Interdisciplinary Practice 1
SCHOOL OF COMMUNICATIONS AND ARTS

Description:

Students are introduced to contemporary arts practitioners linked with the major art movements of the 20th and early 21st centuries and their innovations. It locates how ‘big ideas’ find manifestation within actual arts practices through profiling the current international arts environment and the figures and conditions from history that helped to create it. The unit examines the changing notions of performance and the new possibilities for practice embraced and pursued by a variety of disciplines.
