Description:

This unit explores a range of issues relating to the civil aviation industry, its security and its safety in general. In particular the unit examines the specific risks/threats to which the aviation industry is exposed. Issues include security checks in airports, bombs and bomb threat response procedures, hi-jacking and appropriate responses, disruptive and aggressive behaviour from passengers and procedures for managing such passengers.
