Description: | |||
Classroom teachers need to have knowledge of assessment processes, and skills in using and interpreting a range of assessment tools. In this unit pre-service teachers will be introduced to skills in collecting, analysing and responding to assessment data, and the implications for teaching practices will be investigated. Pre-service teachers will also engage in diagnostic testing, generating student profiles and planning intervention and enrichment. In addition, pre-service teachers will build and critique a bank of diagnostic tools, resources, strategies and practices for professional use in enrichment and intervention. Full Unit Outline | |||
