The focus of this unit is on teaching senior school Society& Environment courses. The unit includes an analysis of Year 11 and Year 12 WACE courses of study, teaching strategies to achieve appropriate learning area outcomes including field trips, teaching-learning resources, assessment requirements and evaluation strategies, planning an upper school teaching-learning program, and state curriculum developments. Students will have the opportunity to specialise in one of the following senior school teaching areas: Economics, Geography, History, Ancient History, and Political and Legal Studies.
