CMH5103 Mental Health Clinical Interventions

Description:
In this unit a range of interventions that can be applied in a community mental health setting will be addressed. These include early intervention strategies applied to clients suffering from psychotic illnesses, the impact of post-traumatic stress disorders and the identification of relapse in clients living in the community, cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), psycho-pharmacology and family therapy.

The practical component will be carried out in community mental health clinics and selected non-government organisations to enhance practical competencies.
