MWB1101 English Language Skills in Communications Studies

Description:
The general aim of the unit is to expose the students to the types and varieties of spoken and written discourse, communicative functions, and conceptual activities related to Communications studies. The aim of the unit is to assist the student in developing greater facility in the four macro-skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) as well as in such study skills as note taking and library research. There will be a special focus on writing and presenting assignments.
