Description:
This unit will provide students with the opportunity to consolidate their experiences in the teaching and learning of mathematics, by planning, presenting and assessing key sequences of mathematics courses at the year 12 level of senior secondary level. A major focus of this unit will be on consolidating students’ skills and confidence in maximising the effective use of a wide range of resource materials suitable to support the teaching and learning of secondary school mathematics. Students will be encouraged to develop appropriate reflective skills that will prepare them for their roles as teachers of mathematics. The planning, presentation and assessment of senior secondary mathematics courses will be conducted.
