LAN5182 Planning and Designing for Language Teaching

Description:
This unit explores the decision-making process in the planning and design of language curricula, courses, syllabuses, and teaching materials. Focusing upon current developments in each of these areas, it examines the justifications for innovation derived from applied linguistics, and from research on language learning and language pedagogy. It considers both national and local issues in planning and design for particular groups of language learners.
