LAN4122 Planning and Monitoring Language Learning

Description:
This unit aims to merge sound theories in language education and practical classroom approaches. Students will examine contemporary views in language education which support the integration of reading, writing, spelling and oral language in devising teaching plans for classroom implementation. Students will develop their own implementation plan by drawing together sound theory, First Steps Strategies, the K-7 English Language Syllabus (Education Department of Western Australia), the English Student Outcome Statements and the Curriculum Framework.
