Description:
This unit focuses on Language Education for children aged 5-8 years. Students will examine language acquisition and development in children of differing backgrounds: the interrelationships between the language modes; the relationships between language and social issues; and language and learning. They will critically analyse a range of texts, as well as a range of literacy learning strategies. They will plan, implement and evaluate language learning experiences using appropriate strategies and resources.
