NSP6101 Advanced Nursing Practice 2

Description:

This unit will prepare the student to complete an advanced holistic patient assessment, including comprehensive history taking and a systems approach to advanced physical assessment, with particular focus on the student’s speciality practice area.  In addition the unit will prepare the students to develop scientific expertise necessary for understanding advanced physiology, pathophysiology, and psychosocial needs of patient populations in specialist practice areas. The students will be prepared to construct individualised treatment plans appropriate for individual patients in designated specialist practice areas.
