In this unit students will be provided with the opportunity to integrate theory into practice and to demonstrate mental health competencies within their scope of practice through a clinical practicum. This unit is designed to equip students with advanced knowledge and skills that can be applied to meet the needs of consumers, carers, their families and communities. Students will be able to evaluate their ability to provide mental health care across the lifespan in various settings of mental health practice.
