ENS6126 Master of Engineering Project 1

Prerequisites:
Must have completed 120 credit points.
 
Description:
This unit requires students to apply the engineering principles and skills they have learned in their coursework units to a substantive engineering design or research project. The project is selected in consultation with an academic supervisor, and can be nominated by the supervisor, by the student, or by an industry partner. In this first project unit students will identify and describe the design task or research problem.  They will produce a project proposal and risk assessment at the start of the unit and will need to document the work completed towards the development of the project up to the end of the semester in a project development report. The project will be continued and completed in the follow-up unit ENS6127 Master of Engineering Design Project 2.
