EDU6410 Autism Spectrum Disorders

Description:

Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder have specific needs that require understanding, knowledge and strategies from teaching staff. This unit will provide the opportunity for teachers to develop their knowledge and understanding of autism and related disorders. Participants will be exposed to current research and understandings in the field of Autism Spectrum Disorders and the learning challenges students encounter in school settings.
