This unit requires students to develop their intellectual and practical research skills by planning a small research project designed to extend existing knowledge in their relevant discipline area. Under the supervision of an academic staff member(s), students formulate a research question(s), develop an appropriate research methodology, write a research proposal and present it to an academic audience.
